Reviews for Calypso Basics, 2 Quart Teakettle, Turquoise (Kitchen) Within a week, paint has already chipped and flaked off badly from the place the deal with attaches and across the within the lid. The inside the spout is starting to rust, and the chipped part of the lid has rusted badly, and drips rust into the boiling water when used. This is after sparsely following the directions to not heat over medium; I had been boiling water on a 1 - 2 atmosphere just to be safe. Basically it is a $25 unit of decor.
