The whistle is great and the handle stays cool to the touch after the water boils. At initial I notion the 1 1/2 quart size could be too petite, however it is simply big sufficient to fill a big French press for espresso (my intended purpose) and anything greater would be awkward to carry when full. The ticket is somewhat excessive, but the plan is so much more sexy than the others in this vary that it can be value the additional money.

When I received the 1 1/2 quart kettle, I used to be dissatisfied to start along. Then after checking the WMF site, I revealed they no longer invent the three quart dimension.
